Appointments
I would be enthusiastic to be appointed as the mediator for your dispute. To begin, we will organize an initial meeting for introductions and a general description od the dispute. During this in-person or online session, which may be conducted through private meetings with each party, I’ll be glad to share more details about my mediation style and approach and how it will be tailored on the particularities of the dispute.
Once my appointment is confirmed, I recommend scheduling pre-mediation meetings to address several preliminary matters, such as the timing of the agreed bundle, position papers, venue, attendees, the involvement of key decision-makers, and other logistical details. During these meetings, I will also present my standard Mediation Agreement, if other regulations are not applicable which will be tailored as needed to accommodate any changes requested by the parties. Additionally, these sessions provide an opportunity to gain a thorough understanding of the case, enabling me to determine the best structure for the overall mediation process and address critical considerations such as urgency, confidentiality, or sensitive topics. Finally, we’ll finalize the mediation schedule to ensure a smooth and effective process.
My Mediation Style and Approach
As a facilitative mediator, my focus is on empowering parties to communicate effectively and work collaboratively toward mutually beneficial outcomes. I prioritize creating a supportive environment where all participants feel comfortable, even when addressing the emotional aspects of the conflict. By fostering open dialogue, I help parties move from less effective bargaining to a strong, solid negotiation process that satisfies all involved and encourages constructive solutions. I believe that understanding the roots and triggers of the dispute is essential to building mutual understanding. This deeper insight can pave the way for better collaboration and lay the foundation for future constructive relationships and partnerships. Through careful guidance, I assist parties in exploring these dynamics, enabling them to rebuild trust and uncover opportunities for lasting, positive outcomes. My goal is to support all parties in navigating the complexities of conflict with confidence and clarity, creating a pathway to sustainable resolution and stronger connections moving forward.
Parties involved in a dispute can appoint me as their mediator directly or through a Mediation Institution. Online mediation can be utilized for the entire process or tailored to specific meetings as needed.
Direct appointment
This approach allows for more flexible and specific mediation in terms of organization and timing, with an even greater focus on confidentiality.
Ad hoc mediation is an effective choice when the decision to mediate has already been agreed upon by the parties.
